Balloon Information and Care

Here are a few tips for storing and using your balloons to keep them in top condition for your event

  • Helium filled balloons (foils and latex) will expand and contract with temperature changes. Try and keep your balloons in a location with a consistent temperature
  • High temperatures can pop your balloons and low temperatures will cause them to deflate.
  • Latex (rubber) balloons can become cloudy due to heat or sunshine.
  • Sharp objects, rough surfaces and static can pop your balloons.
  • Latex balloons are made from natural rubber and may cause allergic reactions.
  • Foil balloons may conduct electricity so do not allow to come into contact with overhead electricity lines.
  • Helium filled balloons will float away if released so please ensure that weights are secure or the balloons are tied to something.
  • Never inhale helium
  • WARNING – keep uninflated balloons away from children and throw away broken/burst balloons immediately to avoid a choking hazard.
  • Please dispose of your helium balloons responsibly. Pin it and Bin it!
